A current French-door refrigerator can run taller than the cabinet above the old one allows, so we measure before you order.
Houses wired before the late 1990s can also have a three-prong dryer outlet, and a new electric dryer then needs a matching cord rather than a forced fit. On gas ranges and dryers we inspect the connector and leak-check the connection before we leave.
Forest Park, around The Ridge at Castle Pines North golf course, dates from the late 1990s and 2000s. Bramble Ridge followed from 2001 to 2003, and both are now at their second replacement. Canterbury Park has 96 townhomes in 28 buildings, built from 1999 to 2002. There, shared walls and stairs make delivery access as important as the opening, so tell us the floor when you book.
Villa Carriage, LifeStyles and PineRidge, also around the golf course, mix 16 duplexes and 12 four-unit buildings with 100 single-family homes. In the duplexes and four-unit buildings, laundry closets and shared entries call for the same measuring as Canterbury Park.
In Daniel’s Ridge, the ranch homes with walkout basements have a ground-level door to the lower floor. That can make a basement refrigerator or freezer much easier to bring in than through the main entry.
Gated neighborhoods add one step. Whisper Canyon and The Hamlet are both gated, so the delivery crew and the technician need gate access arranged in advance. Next door, outside the city line in unincorporated Douglas County, The Village at Castle Pines raises the same gate question.
For a panel-ready refrigerator or dishwasher, or a built-in column, the opening is built around the appliance. We confirm the cutout, the panel and the anchoring hardware before delivery. A few millimeters decide whether the panel lines up with the cabinets around it.
