Ducted vs Recirculating
The two main range hood types have fundamentally different scopes. Recirculating (ductless) models pull air through charcoal filters and return it to the kitchen. No ductwork required, but filters need replacement every few months. We handle both. Most residential range hoods run on a standard 120V outlet or a hardwired connection in the cabinet above. We handle both configurations. If no electrical connection exists at the hood location, an electrician needs to run one first. We identify this at booking. For most replacements, the existing wiring is already in place and the new unit connects directly to it on the same visit.
