Common Problems We Prevent During Installation
Standard Dishwasher Installation
A standard new dishwasher installation connects the hot water supply line to the inlet valve and routes the drain hose with a proper high loop or air gap to prevent backflow. The electrical connection is made at the junction box, the unit is slid into the cabinet opening, mounting brackets are secured to the underside of the counter, and the machine is leveled. We supply braided stainless supply hoses on every job.

Dishwasher Replacement and Removal
The existing unit must be disconnected from the water supply, drain, and electrical connections and slid out of the cabinet opening before the new machine can go in. On older installations, mounting hardware corrodes to the underside of the counter and requires careful extraction. We handle full dishwasher removal and installation, and haul-away of the old unit can be added to the same visit.

Bosch Dishwasher Installation
Bosch is one of the most common dishwashers we install in Denver Metro Area homes, and it has one installation requirement that catches homeowners off guard. Bosch dishwashers do not ship with a power cord. They require either a hardwired connection to a dedicated circuit or a separately purchased junction box cord kit.
This is not optional and cannot be skipped. We verify the electrical setup at your location before scheduling, supply the correct cord kit if needed, and make the hardwired or cord connection to the existing circuit as part of the installation. Getting this right the first time avoids the most common Bosch installation failure point.
Fisher and Paykel Drawer Dishwasher Installation
Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer units require a completely different installation approach from standard under-cabinet models. Single and double drawer configurations have different clearance requirements, separate water and drain connections per drawer on double units, and drawer-specific mounting hardware. We verify the cabinet opening dimensions and plumbing configuration before scheduling. This job goes wrong when it is treated like a standard under-counter install: it requires specific experience with the drawer platform.

What We Check Before Leaving
Every dishwasher install ends with the same checklist. We confirm the water supply connection is fully tightened with no drips, the drain hose is secured at correct height with no kinks, and the electrical connection is correct. The dishwasher is leveled front-to-back and side-to-side, the door opens and closes without obstruction, and a full wash cycle confirms no leaks at any connection point. A dishwasher that leaks at the door after installation is almost always a leveling issue, not a defective door seal.
