Electric Range Installation
Most new electric ranges ship without a power cord. Slide-In vs Freestanding Range
Every freestanding range requires an anti-tip bracket mounted to the floor or wall behind the unit. This bracket engages the rear leveling leg and prevents the range from tipping forward if weight is placed on the open oven door. It is a code requirement, not optional. Many big box delivery installers skip this step entirely. We install the anti-tip bracket on every freestanding range job as a standard part of the scope, not an add-on.
Gas Line: What We Do and What We Don't
We connect gas appliances to an existing gas supply line. We do not run new gas lines through walls or floors. That scope belongs to a licensed plumber or your gas utility company.
