Wilson & Myers in Northglenn, CO
Northglenn was built as a planned suburb, and most of it went up in a single decade around a base model with a ten by eleven foot kitchen and no garage. That history shapes almost every appliance job in the city.
How We Work in Northglenn
Most people arrive here with one of a few different problems, and each service has its own page with the detail that matters.
Residential appliance repair is the largest part of our Northglenn work. Appliance installation covers the part a delivery crew leaves undone, from laundry hook-ups and water lines to wall ovens and range hoods. Commercial appliance service handles refrigeration, ice machines, dish machines and cooking equipment for local businesses.
If you are not sure which one you need, book anyway and describe the machine. Sorting that out is our job, not yours.
Where Our Technicians Go
Our coverage runs to 80233, 80234, 80241 and 80260, none of which match the city limits exactly, across the original planned neighborhoods and the streets around Huron and 112th.
Neighboring Thornton, Westminster, Broomfield and Commerce City sit in the same dispatch zone and see comparable response times, across the Denver Metro Area we cover.
Why Northglenn Households Call Us Back
The technician who diagnoses your appliance is the one who repairs it. There is no dispatch center in the middle passing the job to a subcontractor, and no handoff between a diagnostic visit and a repair crew. Wilson & Myers is family-owned rather than a franchise, and the person giving you the estimate is the person who has to stand behind it.
Estimates come before work, in plain terms, naming the part and the labor. Nothing gets opened up until you approve the number. On refrigeration our technicians are EPA-608 certified, the credential that covers sealed systems and refrigerant handling. All technicians are insured.
Local Coverage Without a Local-Only Parts Problem
We cover 32 cities across the Denver Metro Area. That scale is why a replacement squeezed into a 1960s alcove and a basement laundry two doors down are both routine rather than a special order nobody has seen before.
About us
A City Built Almost Entirely in One Decade
Northglenn was built as a planned suburb, and it shows in the numbers more sharply than anywhere else we cover. Nearly four in ten homes date from the 1960s, six in ten predate 1980, and census puts the median home at 1974.
The base model that defined the place was a two-bedroom house with a kitchen of about ten by eleven feet and no garage. Thousands of them went up within a few years of each other, and most are still standing and still occupied.
None of the postal codes here match the city limits, and the city says so in its own council documents. A Northglenn address and a Northglenn location are not the same thing, which changes nothing for us since we cover the surrounding cities too.
Northglenn, Quarter by Quarter: The First Filings to Karl’s Farm
Northglenn started with show homes by the developer Perl-Mack at what is now I-25 and 104th Avenue. The original filings run north toward 112th Avenue near Grant Street, and most of those houses went up in the 1960s. In 1961 Life magazine and the National Association of Home Builders called it the most perfectly planned community in America.
The southwest corner holds some of the oldest houses. Victoria Heights West, near Huron Street and 100th Avenue, is all single-family homes, mostly from the late 1950s. Deza Estates, about 29 mid-century modern houses on West 99th Avenue and Lunceford, Palmer and Rapp Lanes, is now a National Register historic district. Heftler Homes Hillcrest, near Pecos Street and 102nd Avenue, straddles the Thornton line with 1960s and 1970s homes and townhomes.
The west side filled in later along Pecos and Huron Streets. North Peak, near 108th Avenue, is a small 2003 infill pocket inside a 1960s area. Park Vistas near 111th Avenue is mostly 1990s houses, and Huron Crossing near 116th Avenue was platted in 1994. Northglenn Business Park, near Huron Street and 117th Avenue, is a business and warehouse park platted in 1983.
In the middle of the city, Webster Lake is a pocket of townhomes and multifamily buildings from around 1970, set around the lake park near 113th Avenue. To the east, Fox Run near Colorado Boulevard adds late 1990s and 2000s houses and townhomes. Homestead at Seven Stones, near York Street and 112th Avenue, is 2000s single-family and paired homes close to the Northglenn/112th station area.
Karl’s Farm is the newest of these, platted from 2020 on a former dairy farm near York Street and 122nd Avenue, with townhomes, apartments and some houses. Highlands at Westbury, often listed with Northglenn, is actually across the line in Westminster.
For appliances, the range is wide for a city this compact. A late-1950s kitchen in Victoria Heights West and a brand-new townhome in Karl’s Farm need very different visits. One has decades of replacements on old connections, while the other is still on its first builder set.
When to Call Wilson & Myers
Call while the appliance is failing rather than after it has stopped. Watch for cooling that drifts, a cycle taking twice as long as it used to, or a burner that lights on the third try. These are the cheapest repairs and the ones most likely to close on the first visit. For any refrigerator running warm, call sooner, because a compressor working against a failing seal tends to take itself out.
For a new appliance, call before it is delivered. A short conversation about what is behind the old unit saves a return trip, and occasionally saves you from buying something that will not fit the space.
Appliance Service in Northglenn, CO: Common Questions
What services do you offer in Northglenn?
Which areas do you cover?
We cover 80233, 80234, 80241 and 80260, none of which match the city limits exactly, across the original planned neighborhoods and the streets around Huron and 112th. Neighboring cities are in the same dispatch zone, so an address near a boundary changes nothing for booking.
How soon can someone come out?
For a call received before noon we can usually get a technician out that afternoon, and evening slots open when the daytime schedule allows. We confirm a two-hour arrival window when you book. What we commit to is that window rather than a finish time, because how long a job takes depends on what the technician finds.
What does the warranty cover?
Every repair and installation we complete in Northglenn carries a 100-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same fault returns inside that window, we come back and put it right under the warranty. The cover applies to the specific work performed and the parts we fitted doing it.
