Walk-In Freezer Not Maintaining Temperature
A walk-in freezer that won’t hold steady between -10°F and 0°F points to a control system fault rather than a complete refrigeration failure. A thermostat that cycles the condensing unit off too early, a temperature sensor reading incorrectly, or a defrost timer running cycles too frequently are the most common causes. Walk-In Freezer Door Repair

Walk-In Freezer Defrost Not Working
A defrost system that fails on a walk-in freezer allows frost to accumulate on the evaporator coil until airflow is completely blocked and the box stops cooling. A burned-out defrost heater, a failed defrost timer that never initiates the cycle, or a defective defrost thermostat that terminates the cycle too early are the most common causes. A failed defrost system shows itself as visible frost or ice buildup on the back wall of the box or on the evaporator coil itself.
