Commercial Washer Not Spinning
When the washer runs through the cycle but laundry comes out soaking wet, the problem is almost always a worn or snapped drive belt. On front-loaders, a failed door lock assembly keeps the spin safety interlock from releasing. A failed lid switch on top-loaders or a motor that can no longer generate enough torque for the spin cycle causes the same symptom.

Commercial Washing Machine Leaking

Commercial Washer Won't Start
When nothing happens after a start command, check power supply first: confirm the circuit breaker and verify the outlet is active. If power is confirmed, a failed door lock on front-loaders or a failed lid switch on top-loaders prevents the safety interlock from releasing the start signal. A faulty control board that doesn’t initialize the startup sequence is a less common but possible cause, usually preceded by error codes or intermittent behavior. After a power surge, a washer that won’t start often responds to a full power reset: unplug it or switch off its breaker for 5 minutes, then restart before calling for service.
Commercial Washer Shaking Violently
Excessive vibration during the spin cycle in a commercial washer almost always means an unbalanced load, a worn drum bearing, or failed suspension components. In high-cycle commercial units, bearing failure is more common than in residential washers due to the volume of loads processed daily.
