Ovention Oven Repair in Denver Metro

Ovention commercial countertop oven brand logo

Our insured technicians repair Ovention countertop electric ovens in Denver Metro restaurants, pizzerias, cafes and convenience stores, with a 100-day labor warranty on our work. Past Ovention's warranty, a CHECK FANS light that stays on, a reset that keeps tripping or a belt that moves wrong is ours to fix.

100-Day Labor Warranty On every paid repair, for the work on your invoice. Parts carry their maker's warranty.

Ovention Countertop Electric Ovens: Denver Metro Service

Before you book Ovention oven repair, settle two questions: is it a real fault, and is the oven still under Ovention’s warranty? The maker’s own manuals and warranty terms answer both. Once that warranty ends, or on an oven bought secondhand, our insured technicians take the repair across Denver Metro, with a 100-day labor warranty.

Ovention Families We Repair and the Label on Your Unit

Find the model and serial on the specification label. It sits on the left side, or on the right on a MiLO. A label that reads Middleby Marshall belongs to another brand’s conveyor oven, covered on our Middleby Marshall conveyor oven page.

Three families run a belt, so an Ovention conveyor oven is a C, an S or the F1400. An Ovention C2000 runs its belt straight through. A Shuttle can also close a door at each end.

The M360 is the turntable Matchbox. The Ovention Matchbox M1718 and M1313 are sliders.

On a Conveyor or Shuttle, read the suffix too. An Ovention S2000 with no suffix has the catalyst; NC means no catalyst, and the manuals say those models need a hood.

We do not take the MiSA, a microwave speed oven. Every family in the table is ours past the warranty, like other makes under our commercial oven repair service.

What the Oven Shows You: No Numbered Codes

The Conveyor, Shuttle and slider Matchbox (M1313, M1718) light a CHECK FANS indicator on the front right of the oven chamber. The manuals list three causes, in order. A room that is too hot comes first, then dirty rear air filters, then a failed cooling fan.

The F1400 shows four named error messages.

F1400 error messages and first checks
MessageFirst checks in the manual
Temperature Probe ErrorShield the oven from fans, air-conditioning ducts and exterior doors; check that the elements heat
Control Board OvertempRoom below 100°F, fan unblocked, vent area clear
Touch Panel ErrorClean grease and dirt off the touchpad
Heating ErrorEach infrared element should glow red; if one does not, call for service
  • Blank touchscreen: check the Standby control, the Main Disconnect or Power I/O switch and the plug. On a MiLO, check the Control Reset switch too, and on a MiLO-16 or MiLO2-16 the rear Circuit Breaker switch. A breaker that keeps tripping needs service.
  • Slow to warm: a MiLO takes 20 to 30 minutes. Still cold after that, it needs the no-heat checks below.
  • Normal, not a fault: belt direction on a Conveyor is a setting, applied after a restart. An idle Ovention Shuttle drops back to Shuttle Mode. A paused cycle left alone on an Ovention Matchbox oven cancels after two minutes.
  • Belt, slider or turntable moving wrong: power down fully, after the fans stop, then tighten loose acorn nuts, screws or brackets. A gear, drive or software fault needs a technician. Past the warranty, that is ours.

Ovention Not Heating: the Temperature High Limit Reset

When the screen works but the chamber stays cold, the manuals point to the Temperature High Limit Reset Button. If your Ovention pizza oven is a MiLO-16 or MiLO2-16, check the rear Circuit Breaker switch first. Then press the reset button once. The table below shows where.

If the high limit trips again, the manuals call for service and give no trip temperature or cause. Past the warranty, we trace what keeps tripping it.

Ovention Oven Cleaning: Filters, Jet Plates and the Catalyst

Chemicals Ovention has not approved can damage the catalyst, and they void the warranty. The cleaning sheets allow only a non-caustic degreaser. Spray the cloth, never the chamber or a touchscreen, and clean only when the oven is cold, disconnected and the fans have stopped.

The manuals list the filters and jet plates monthly. Ovention’s accessories catalog suggests washing filters daily, with a spare on hand. Our preventive maintenance visits can take that list off your hands, with the cleaners the manuals approve.

Ovention Warranty and Who Handles the Repair

The limited warranty covers every oven for one year, parts and labor, from purchase or registration, whichever is later. Replacement parts get 90 days, parts only.

Registration within 90 days of factory shipment qualifies for additional coverage, and an extended warranty is sold too. If either applies, check that paperwork before you book.

Only the original buyer can claim the warranty, so an oven bought secondhand from another business is ours from the first call.

We source parts through national supplier networks and manufacturer contracts. The manuals call for genuine Ovention replacement parts, since others void all warranties and can expose operators to shock or burns. We fit genuine Ovention parts when the supplier has the right one.

  • Under warranty

Any fault goes to Ovention first, through Customer Care or its Find a Service Partner locator. Service by an agency it has not named can void coverage.

  • Excluded at Ovention’s discretion

Air filters, catalyst damage from non-approved cleaners, impact damage to touchscreens or belts, faults from improper voltage or installation. While the warranty runs, the maker decides first; after it, that is paid work and ours. A wrong supply or receptacle is an electrician’s job.

  • Past the warranty, or bought secondhand

The repair is ours, as is a fault the maker has declined to cover. Our work carries a 100-day labor warranty.

When to Call Wilson & Myers for Ovention Oven Repair

Run the manual’s checks first. That means the switches, one press of the reset, clean filters and a room that is not too hot. In my experience, a fault that survives them needs a technician, not another reset.

Past the warranty, once the maker declines a claim, or on an oven bought secondhand, that fault is ours. Book an Ovention repair online. Have the model and serial from the label ready.

We also repair other commercial cooking brands, plus refrigeration, ice machines, dishwashers and hoods, through our commercial appliance services.

Common Questions About Ovention Repair

  • Do Ovention ovens have error codes?

Ovention’s manuals list no numbered codes for any model. The Conveyor, Shuttle and slider Matchbox light CHECK FANS, and the F1400 shows four named messages. When you book, tell us which light or message you see, or what the oven does.

  • My Ovention Matchbox 1718 won't heat. What should I check first?

Press the Temperature High Limit Reset Button once; on an Ovention M1718 it sits behind the left platform. If it trips again, the oven needs service. Past the warranty, that call is ours.

  • What does the CHECK FANS light mean on an Ovention?

The manuals give three causes, in order: a room that is too hot, dirty rear air filters, then a failed cooling fan. The first two are yours. A failed fan is technician work, and ours past the warranty.

  • Is every Ovention ventless?

No. Catalyst models are UL listed as ventless, but not for fatty raw proteins, and NC models need a hood; V means venting required. The F1400’s ventless listing covers only reheating pre-cooked product. Your local authority decides.

Our commercial hood repair service covers the hood over an NC model.

  • Why do the fans keep running after I switch the oven off?

That is normal: on the Conveyor, Shuttle, Matchbox and MiLO, the fans run until the chamber drops below 140°F. Leave the power on until they stop. Cutting it early can damage the electronics.

  • Who repairs an Ovention in Denver Metro, in or out of warranty?

Under warranty, any fault goes to Ovention first, through Customer Care or its Find a Service Partner locator. We are not that service. Past the warranty, or once the maker declines a claim, our insured technicians repair it across Denver Metro. An oven bought secondhand from another business is ours from the first call.

  • How old is my Ovention?

Read the ten-digit serial on the specification label. The parts lists treat its last four digits as build year and week: 1330 is week 30 of 2013. We check it before ordering Ovention parts.

CHECK FANS Light On, or Your Ovention Will Not Heat?

Tell us the model from the label (left, or right on a MiLO) and what the oven shows. Past Ovention's warranty, insured technicians repair it with a 100-day labor warranty.
