Electrolux Washer and Dryer Repair Across Denver Metro

Electrolux laundry repair begins with the model number. It names the machine and its series, and both decide which of our two pages fits and which warranty applies.

Washer Page or Dryer Page: Where Each Machine Goes

Electrolux’s current laundry line is front load only. It runs to five full-size washers, ten full-size dryers, a 24-inch compact pair and four Laundry Towers. Each machine goes to the page for its half of the job, and a tower appears on both.

  • Washers: the 300 to 700 Series full-size models, the compact 24-inch model and each Laundry Tower’s washer side, on our Electrolux washer page.
  • Dryers: the full-size gas and electric 300 to 700 Series, the ventless compact and each tower’s dryer side, on our Electrolux dryer page.

Tower, Stacked Pair or Compact: Telling Them Apart

Three Electrolux laundry setups can look alike in a closet. The rows below show how each one routes.

  • Laundry Tower or stacked pair

A Laundry Tower is one machine about 76 inches tall: washer at the bottom, dryer on top and a single control panel in the middle. A stacked pair is two machines on a kit.

  • Full-size or 24-inch compact

The ELFW4222A washer and ELFE4222A dryer are the 24-inch compact pair. Every other current standalone model is full-size.

  • One tower, two pages

Water, drain and spin faults on a tower go to the washer page; heat and venting go to the dryer page.

Front Load Only: What This Branch Leaves Out

Electrolux’s current catalog has no all-in-one washer and dryer, no top-load washer and no heat pump dryer. Check the badge on any of those. A top-loader, or a laundry center with the Frigidaire name below the dryer door, is a Frigidaire-family machine for our Frigidaire page.

We clean dryer vents as a job of its own, for the vented full-size dryers and the towers. The ELFE4222A compact has no exhaust vent. It condenses its moisture instead.

Electrolux Professional commercial laundry machines are not covered here. Refrigerators, dishwashers and cooking machines have their own branches: the kitchen branch and the cooking branch.

What Each Laundry Warranty Says, Source by Source

Electrolux’s own sources disagree on laundry warranties, so here is what each one prints. All of them give at least one year of parts and labor. The guides cover defects in materials or workmanship, as long as the machine was installed, used and maintained the way its guide directs.

While any Electrolux coverage runs, Electrolux’s warranty service takes a covered defect; outside that coverage, the repair is ours. Keep the paperwork, because some guides count from delivery and others from purchase.

  • Dryers

One year of parts and labor, plus a parts-only second year, in all three dryer guides. The listings for the full-size and compact dryers tie that second year to registration; the guides do not. The compact’s guide counts from purchase; the others count the first year from delivery.

  • Full-size washers

One year of parts and labor in every source. Beyond that, a second parts year, a 10-year motor term or a lifetime tub term shows up in some guides and listings, without labor. Check the warranty that came with yours.

  • Laundry Tower

The tower guide prints one year of parts and labor from delivery, plus a second year on parts. The motor and tub terms appear in its listing, not its guide.

  • 24-inch compact washer

One year of parts and labor in every source. Check the guide that came with it for any longer term.

When to Call Wilson & Myers

Two checks come first. Read the full model number off the machine, because Electrolux puts the series inside it. Then dig out the receipt or delivery slip for the warranty.

Past those checks, Electrolux washer and dryer service is our work throughout Denver Metro. Our insured technicians cover every current model. We source parts through national supplier networks and manufacturer contracts.

In my experience, the quickest start on a tower is knowing which half is acting up and what its display says.

Electrolux Washer and Dryer Repair FAQ

  • Can you stack Electrolux washer and dryer units?

Yes, on Electrolux’s own stacking kit, with the dryer on top: Electrolux forbids a washer stacked on a dryer.

A stacked pair stays two machines, one on each of our pages. A Laundry Tower comes already stacked.

  • Who handles Electrolux washer and dryer repair near me, Electrolux or you?

It depends on the warranty. While any Electrolux coverage runs, Electrolux’s warranty service takes a covered defect; outside that coverage, the repair is ours.

We work across the Denver Metro Area, on every current Electrolux washer, dryer and tower.

  • Is an Electrolux Laundry Tower one machine or two?

One machine. Taken apart, Electrolux says, neither half works on its own.

Electrolux washer dryer repair on a tower still uses two of our pages. Washer faults go to our Electrolux washer page; heat and venting go to our Electrolux dryer page.

  • Do an Electrolux washer and dryer need separate circuits?

Yes, as a rule. Electrolux’s electric dryer instructions say never to run the washer and dryer on the same circuit. A Laundry Tower’s two halves need separate circuits too.

  • How do I tell which series my Electrolux washer or dryer is?

Read the full model number. Electrolux builds the series into it, and the series changes the controls.

Electrolux’s product listings call the 7300 and 7600 towers the 300 and 600 Series. The model tables on our washer and dryer pages show each current series.
