Electrolux’s current cooking line runs on gas, on electricity or on both. Each kind of machine has its own page. The model number on the plate settles which page is yours, and which guide applies.
There is no stand-alone Electrolux oven: every current oven sits inside a range or a wall oven. Every fault inside the oven cavity goes to the oven page, whichever machine holds it. That means bake, broil, convection and oven codes.
The range page keeps the burners, the knobs and the gas supply. The wall oven page takes the built-in unit itself, including its cooling fan and the combination model’s microwave.
Several Electrolux cooking machines resemble each other from the front. Each pair below splits by page or by fuel.
Both carry a gas cooktop. The dual fuel ECFD models bake with electric elements on a 240-volt, 4-prong cord; the gas ECFG models use a 120-volt, 3-prong cord.
The ECCG3672A rangetop has the same six-burner layout as the 36-inch ranges, but no oven. It sits in a countertop cutout and shares our cooktop page.
The ECCG3068A and ECCG3668A drop into the counter with five sealed burners. The rangetop has six burners and front knobs. All three share one page with us.
The ECWM3012A puts a microwave above an oven in one unit, and it lives on our wall oven page. The EMBD3010A is a stand-alone built-in microwave with a drop-down door.
Electrolux files the EMOW1911A over-the-range microwave among its hoods, and over-the-range microwaves sit outside what we service. Our hood page covers the T-shape hoods, not that microwave.
Two classes stay out of our work. Electrolux sells two induction ranges, ECFI3068A and ECFI3668A, and two induction cooktops, ECCI3068A and ECCI3668A, and we do not take any of them. We turn down over-the-range and countertop microwaves too, the EMOW1911A included; Electrolux sells no countertop model under its badge.
The Electrolux gas cooktop guide opens with an Electrolux welcome and closes on a Frigidaire back cover. Trust the badge, not the paperwork. Ranges, ovens and cooktops badged Frigidaire or Frigidaire Professional belong on our Frigidaire page.
Electrolux Professional commercial ranges and ovens are not covered here.
Every current cooking guide on this branch prints the same term, one year, and starts it on the purchase date. That year covers defects in materials or workmanship, as long as the machine was installed, used and maintained the way its guide directs. While any Electrolux coverage runs, Electrolux’s warranty service takes a covered defect; outside that coverage, the repair is ours.
Electrolux’s product listings for these machines add a second year of replacement parts if the owner registers within 60 days. The printed guides do not mention it. Check your own paperwork.
No CPSC recall names a current Electrolux range, oven, wall oven, cooktop, hood or built-in microwave. Two recalls on discontinued ICON models are another matter, and we never repair a recalled unit.
Recall 11-016 covers units of the ICON radiant cooktops E30EC65ESS and E36EC65ESS, for a fire and burn hazard. CPSC now says to stop using and discard a recalled unit, and our Electrolux cooktop page prints the serial range.
Recall 10-048 covers units of the ICON gas range E30GF74HPS, whose oven can release carbon monoxide. CPSC says to stop using that oven and contact Electrolux for a free repair; our Electrolux oven page gives the serials.
| Discontinued models | Recall | Hazard | What CPSC says |
|---|---|---|---|
| E30EC65ESS and E36EC65ESS radiant cooktops | 11-016 | Fire and burns | Stop using and discard: no remedy remains |
| E30GF74HPS gas range | 10-048 | Carbon monoxide from the oven | Keep the oven off; call Electrolux for the free repair |
Start with three checks. Note the model number from the plate and keep the receipt handy, since the one-year term starts at purchase. If the plate reads E30EC65ESS, E36EC65ESS or E30GF74HPS, read the recall section above before anything else.
Then the job is ours anywhere in Denver Metro. Our insured technicians handle every machine on this branch: ranges, wall ovens, the built-in microwave, the two gas cooktops, the rangetop and the hoods. We source parts through national supplier networks and manufacturer contracts.
In my experience, the model number settles the right page fastest, since an oven fault can sit in a range or a wall oven.
With the model number ready, book a repair online.
Which page covers the oven in an Electrolux range?
Does Electrolux make a slide-in range?
Not today. Every current Electrolux range is freestanding; the four gas and dual fuel models we repair are on our Electrolux range page.
Which page covers each half of an Electrolux combination wall oven?
The upper microwave and the built-in unit go to our Electrolux wall oven page. A fault inside the lower oven cavity, such as no heat or an oven code, goes to the oven page.
Do you repair Electrolux induction ranges and cooktops?
No. Electrolux’s induction ranges and induction cooktops are machines we do not take; the models are named above. The gas cooktops, the rangetop and every gas or dual fuel range are ours.
Does the Electrolux cooking warranty start at delivery or purchase?
At purchase. Every current cooking guide here starts its year on the purchase date, so keep the receipt.
Several guides on the kitchen branch and the laundry branch count from delivery instead.
Tell us the model number and what stopped working. Those two details tell our technician where to start.
