Insured Amana Repair in Denver Metro: Laundry Appliances

Amana Laundry Appliances We Service

We repair Amana top-load and front-load washers and electric and gas dryers in Denver Metro homes. Each model signals its own way, so we start from the plate.

Amana Laundry Appliance Repair in the Denver Metro Area

An Amana washer stopped mid-cycle or a dryer that tumbles without heat sends you to one of two pages here. Amana laundry appliance repair starts at the plate. It settles which page, what the machine can show you and which Amana guide applies.

Top-Load or Front-Load, Electric or Gas

Two questions sort an Amana laundry pair. Does the washer load from the top or the front, and does the dryer heat with electricity or gas? Washers go to one page and dryers to the other, older models included.

The vent run is a separate job. Amana’s dryer guides tell owners to clear lint from the whole run at least every two years. That is our dryer vent cleaning service.

Kitchen and cooking appliances sit on other branches of our main Amana page.

  • Top-load washers: agitator machines with knobs or dials and status lights, such as the NTW4519J and NTW4516F. They go to the Amana washer page.
  • Front-load washers: the NFW5800H with its digital time-remaining display, and the older NFW5800DW and NFW7300WW. They share the same washer page.
  • Electric dryers: NED models, from the knob-controlled NED4655E to the electronic NED5800H and the older NED7500V, plus the AED4600TW. They go to the Amana dryer page.
  • Gas dryers: NGD models such as the NGD4655E and NGD5800H, plus the AGD4600TW. All need a gas supply as well as a 120-volt outlet. They share the same dryer page.

Lights, a Display or a Blank Panel

The model decides what an Amana laundry machine shows. Some signal only with status lights, some print messages on a display, and some show nothing at all. We read each signal against that model’s own Amana guide, never against a code list from another source.

  • NTW4519J top-load

Status lights such as Wash, Final Spin and Lid Locked, with no display and no codes.

  • NTW4516F top-load

Status lights on a dial model, with no codes printed.

  • NFW5800H front-load

A digital time-remaining display, and only a few messages printed in its manual.

  • NED4655E and NGD4655E dryers

Knob controls, no display and no codes printed.

  • NED5800H and NGD5800H dryers

Electronic controls with display codes and a Check Vent indicator.

Amana’s Laundry Warranty and Recall Record

Amana’s laundry warranties run one year, parts and labor. None we read prints a longer term on any part, motor and drum included. The 2023 texts count that year from delivery; older ones count from purchase.

Amana’s 2023 texts say an outside servicer or third-party parts will not void the warranty, though damage they cause is excluded. Some laundry models also appear on a 2019 text without that sentence. Read the warranty paper that came with your machine.

Gas conversion and door reversal are never warranty work under these texts. No CPSC recall record we found names an Amana washer or dryer. On a laundry call, the plate tells us the model and the receipt tells us the warranty date. The warranty route runs in three steps:

  1. Find the date: delivery or purchase, whichever your warranty text counts from.
  2. Inside one year: book Amana’s warranty service through the contact printed on your Amana warranty. We are not that service.
  3. After one year: the repair is yours to buy and ours to do.

When to Call Wilson & Myers

Before you book, read each machine’s model number and note which lights are on or flashing, or what the display says. Have the delivery or purchase date ready too. Those details decide the warranty route and which Amana guide applies.

Everything past those checks is our job. Our insured technicians work on washers and on gas and electric dryers anywhere in Denver Metro. We source parts through national supplier networks and manufacturer contracts. Every paid repair carries our 100-day labor warranty on the work on your invoice.

In my experience, knowing both model numbers before the visit helps more than any description of the fault. When you are ready, book a laundry repair online. Name both machines if both need us.

Amana Laundry Appliance Repair FAQ

  • Should I book the washer and the dryer together?

If both are acting up, yes. Name both machines and both model numbers when you book, and one visit can look at each in turn. Each machine gets its own diagnosis and its own quote.

  • Does Amana's warranty cover a service call caused by the dryer vent?

No. Amana’s dryer guides say service calls caused by improper venting are not covered. The customer pays, whoever installed the dryer. Clearing the run is booked as its own service.

  • Do you repair Amana gas dryers as well as electric ones?

Yes, our insured technicians work on both. Amana’s gas dryer documents say the burner listed on the rating plate must match your home’s gas. Tell us whether you have natural gas or propane when you book.

  • Can you repair a stacked Amana washer and dryer?

Yes. Amana’s product records list the NFW5800H front-load washer and the NGD5800H gas dryer as stackable. Say it is stacked when you book.

  • What if my Amana washer or dryer is not named on this page?

Book it anyway, with the full model number. Amana’s library still holds guides for many older NTW, NFW, NED and NGD models, and we work from the one that matches yours.

  • Is your repair warranty separate from Amana's?

Yes. Amana’s warranty covers the machine in its first year, through Amana’s warranty service. Our 100-day labor warranty covers the work on your invoice on every paid repair we do.

Which Amana Laundry Machine Stopped Working?

Tell us each machine's model number and what its lights or display show. Booking both machines together is fine; just name both.
