Frigidaire Laundry Appliances We Service

Frigidaire Washers, Dryers and Laundry Centers in Denver Metro

Frigidaire washer and dryer repair begins at the plate. The plate names the machine, and the machine decides the warranty terms and our page for it. Frigidaire’s current catalog lists three kinds under its own badge: top-load washers, vented dryers and laundry centers.

An older Frigidaire washer or dryer is ours too. The tables name what Frigidaire sells today, because their guides are the ones quoted here.

Washer, Dryer or Laundry Center: Reading the Plate

Frigidaire puts the model plate where the machine opens. A top-load washer carries its model and serial numbers on a plate under the lid. A dryer carries them inside the door opening. A laundry center does the same, and that one dryer plate covers the whole unit.

A laundry center is one cabinet, 76 inches tall, with a washer lid and a dryer door. It counts as one machine. That makes Frigidaire washer dryer repair on it one booking, not two.

Our Frigidaire washer and laundry center page covers both top-load washers and all three laundry centers as whole units. Standalone dryers go to our Frigidaire dryer page. That page also handles the heat and venting side of a laundry center.

Gas or electric is the next split, on standalone dryers and laundry centers alike. Electric models need a dedicated 30-amp circuit. Gas models plug into a 120-volt outlet and connect to a gas line. Propane needs a conversion kit, and Frigidaire’s installation sheets call for a qualified gas technician to fit it.

Gallery, Professional or Electrolux: Checking the Badge

Neither Frigidaire Gallery nor Frigidaire Professional lists a washer, dryer or laundry center today. Current machines here all wear the plain Frigidaire badge. A laundry machine badged Gallery belongs on our Frigidaire Gallery page.

Front-load washers need a closer look. Frigidaire’s catalog lists no front-loader, stacked front-load pair or all-in-one washer-dryer under its own badge. Frigidaire’s laundry menu sends front-load and stacked-set shoppers to Electrolux instead. An Electrolux-badged front-loader belongs on our Electrolux page.

Kitchen and cooking machines have branches of their own, all listed on our Frigidaire brand page.

Warranty Terms and One Recall to Check First

Frigidaire lists one year of parts and one year of labor on every current washer, dryer and laundry center. The written warranties add two details. The year starts on a different date by model. A laundry center’s wash tub also carries a longer term, with labor excluded.

Keep the receipt or the delivery slip. Frigidaire’s guides ask for one of them, or another payment record, to set the warranty period.

Every one of these warranties excludes a machine used in a commercial setting or transferred from its original owner. Visits that only correct the installation are excluded too. Inside the term, a defect goes to Frigidaire’s warranty service first; after it, the repair is ours.

Stop using the dryer of an FFLG4033QW or FFLG4033QT gas laundry center: a 2023 recall repairs it free, as our Frigidaire dryer page explains.

Venting and Vent Cleaning on Frigidaire Dryers

No current Frigidaire dryer is ventless, and that includes the dryer in a laundry center. Duct material, length limits and Frigidaire’s cleaning interval all sit on our Frigidaire dryer page. We handle the cleaning itself as dryer vent cleaning, a booking separate from a repair.

Garage and Cold-Room Laundry in Denver Metro Homes

An unheated garage can put a Frigidaire machine outside its own installation limits. The limits differ by machine.

  • Top-load washers: a room that never drops below 60°F, and never a garage where gasoline, other flammables or cars are kept.
  • Laundry centers: the same 60°F minimum, never a garage where flammables or cars are kept, and never below-freezing temperatures.
  • Floors and garage clearance: Frigidaire sets those by machine, on our washer page and our dryer page.

When to Call Wilson & Myers

Three checks need no tools. Read the model number off the plate. Find the receipt or delivery slip while the warranty may still apply. On an older gas laundry center, compare the plate with the recall above.

Past those checks, Frigidaire laundry repair is our work across Denver Metro. Our insured technicians handle top-load washers, laundry centers, and gas and electric dryers.

A visit the warranty leaves out, like an installation correction, is ours as well. We source parts through national supplier networks and manufacturer contracts.

I usually ask for the full model number first. The 7000A and 7523B machines start their warranty year on different dates, and the number tells me which applies.

Have four details ready, then book your Frigidaire laundry visit online.

  1. Model number: the full string from the plate.
  2. Machine: washer, dryer or laundry center, and gas or electric for a dryer.
  3. Symptom: what the machine does, and any code or light it shows.
  4. Purchase or delivery date: it tells us whether Frigidaire’s warranty still applies.

Frigidaire Laundry Appliance Repair FAQ

Is a stacked Frigidaire washer and dryer a laundry center?

Yes, if both halves share one cabinet. That cabinet’s model and serial numbers are on the dryer plate, inside the door opening. Frigidaire’s standalone dryer instructions forbid stacking a washer on the dryer. Frigidaire’s catalog lists no stacked front-load pair today.

Can a Frigidaire washer and dryer share one circuit?

No. Frigidaire’s installation text gives each of its washers, dryers and laundry centers an individual branch circuit.

Frigidaire’s electric dryer instructions forbid running the washer and dryer on one circuit. A laundry center should have its own breaker, shared with no other outlet or appliance.

My laundry center’s dryer will not heat. Do I book the whole unit?

Yes. The cabinet is one machine, so it is one booking, and its model and serial numbers are on the dryer plate.

Our Frigidaire dryer page covers the heat and venting side, and our washer page covers the unit.

Who fixes a Frigidaire washer or dryer after the warranty year?

We do, across Denver Metro. Inside the term, a defect goes to Frigidaire’s warranty service first. Once the year ends, Frigidaire washer and dryer repair comes to us. A laundry center’s wash tub is the exception, since Frigidaire covers that part longer, labor excluded.

Which Frigidaire Laundry Appliance Stopped Working?

Tell us the model number from under the washer lid or inside the dryer door opening. On a laundry center, that dryer plate covers the whole unit.
