Frigidaire Kitchen Appliance Repair in Denver Metro
Six kinds of Frigidaire machine share this page, and each also has a repair page of its own. The model number decides which page is yours. The delivery or purchase date tells you whether Frigidaire’s warranty service should see the fault first.
An older Frigidaire or Frigidaire Professional machine is ours too. The lists below name what Frigidaire sells today, because their guides are the ones quoted here.
Six Machines, Six Pages
Start from the plate, not from the symptom. A refrigerator usually shows its model number high on a side wall of the fresh food compartment. Where it is not there, your guide’s figure gives the spot. An upright freezer shows it on the interior side trim, and a chest freezer on its left outside wall.
Dishwashers usually carry it along the inside of the door or the right side of the tub. A disposer has a bottom plate, a cord tag, or both.
Ranges, ovens, cooktops and hoods belong to Frigidaire cooking appliances, and washers and dryers to Frigidaire laundry appliances. Countertop and over-the-range microwaves sit outside what we service. Our Frigidaire brand page lists all three groups.
- Refrigerator: Frigidaire and Frigidaire Professional refrigerators in French door, side-by-side, top freezer, bottom freezer, all-refrigerator and compact builds. Their freezer sections belong there too.
- Freezer: chest and upright freezers that stand alone, all plain Frigidaire, plus the Professional FPFU19F8W column model. The 14 convertible models stay there in refrigerator mode.
- Ice maker: ice makers built into Frigidaire refrigerators and the Professional column freezer, plus Frigidaire’s add-on kits. We do not take countertop or nugget ice makers.
- Wine cooler: the FRWE4626A and FRWW4543A wine coolers, plus the FRYB4626A beverage center for cans. Frigidaire lists no Professional wine unit.
- Dishwasher: built-in Frigidaire dishwashers, 24-inch and 18-inch, including the panel-ready FDSR4501A and the Professional PDSH4816B. No portable or drawer model is current.
- Garbage disposal: Frigidaire disposers from 1/3 to 1-1/4 HP, continuous or batch feed, plus two older Professional models from a 2017 recall.
Machines That Pass for Each Other
Three pairs here are easy to mix up. Each splits cleanly once you see how Frigidaire files the machine.
- Freezer section or freezer
A freezer compartment in any Frigidaire refrigerator is refrigerator work. Only a standalone chest, upright or column freezer belongs on the freezer page.
- Professional column pair
FPRU19F8W is a refrigerator and FPFU19F8W is a freezer, even when a pairing kit joins them side by side. The freezer’s glide-out ice maker is ice maker work.
- Dishwasher and disposer
Frigidaire’s dishwasher guides put the disposer near the top of a drain check. A drain fault on a shared line can belong to either machine.
Frigidaire, Frigidaire Professional or Gallery
Frigidaire Professional has no page of its own on our site, so its kitchen machines are covered here. Frigidaire Gallery does have one: our Frigidaire Gallery page.
In Frigidaire’s catalog, current Gallery kitchen model numbers all start with G. Older ones may start with FG instead. A Frigidaire manual can cover several lines at once, so a Gallery section in it says nothing about your machine.
Curtis International sells licensed products under the Frigidaire name, and its retro mini fridges and can coolers sit outside what we service.
What Frigidaire’s Warranty Covers, Machine by Machine
One year is the usual term here, with two exceptions worth checking before you pay for a repair. While the term runs, a covered defect belongs with Frigidaire’s warranty service. After it, we take the repair.
Some guides start the clock at delivery, others at purchase, so keep the receipt or delivery slip. The warranty stays with the original owner, so a machine that came with a resale home is usually a paid repair.
- Refrigerators
Frigidaire and Professional models carry one year on parts and labor. The FPRU19F8W column refrigerator gets two years.
- Freezers
One year on the 17 chest and upright models, two on the Professional FPFU19F8W. Food lost in a failure is never covered.
- Ice makers
They share the term of the refrigerator or column freezer they sit in. Frigidaire’s kit listings print no term for a kit bought alone.
- Wine coolers and beverage center
All three carry one year, and their guides add no longer sealed-system term.
- Dishwashers
Every current spec sheet lists one year on parts and one on labor.
- Disposers
Five to twelve years from purchase, by horsepower, plus lifetime replacement if corrosion stops the unit. The disposer page linked above lists each term.
Recalls Worth Checking Before You Book
Each notice names its own remedy, so check the table before you book. Three model names in 22-143 are still sold, so the serial range decides. Our Frigidaire ice maker page carries that recall in full, with the models and serial ranges.
The 2017 disposer notice gives no end date, so confirm it is still open. Our Frigidaire disposer page carries that one. No CPSC notice names a Frigidaire freezer, wine cooler or dishwasher.

Gather three things before you book. None of them needs a tool. Read the model and serial numbers off the plate. Find the receipt or delivery slip, then check the model against the recall table above.

Is my refrigerator’s freezer section a freezer repair?
No, it stays with the refrigerator. A freezer compartment inside any Frigidaire refrigerator is refrigerator work, whatever the layout.
Only a chest, upright or Professional column freezer that stands on its own goes to our Frigidaire freezer page.
Which kitchen machines here do you not take?
Countertop and nugget ice makers, and the retro mini fridges and can coolers Curtis International sells under the Frigidaire name. Those are licensed products rather than Frigidaire machines.

My appliance is still inside its warranty term. Is every fault a warranty job?
No, not every fault qualifies. Frigidaire’s guides exclude calls to correct an installation or explain the appliance, plus water filters and other consumables. On disposers, jams and leaks at the sink flange, dishwasher inlet or discharge elbow are excluded too.
Frigidaire’s warranty service still sees a covered defect first. A repair the warranty leaves out is a paid visit, and we can take it.
Why does my Frigidaire warranty name Electrolux?
Frigidaire’s refrigeration and dishwasher guides name Electrolux as the company responsible for covered repairs. That wording does not make your machine an Electrolux.
