Insured Frigidaire Repair, Denver Metro: Cooking Appliances

Frigidaire Cooking Appliance Repair in Denver Metro

Five pages sit under this one. Ranges, wall ovens, gas and radiant cooktops and range hoods each have one, and the oven cavity has its own. This page sorts out which machine you own and which Frigidaire badge it wears.

An older Frigidaire or Frigidaire Professional machine is ours too. The model lists name what Frigidaire sells today, because their guides are the ones quoted here. Questions about the whole brand sit on our main Frigidaire page.

Four Machines, One Oven Cavity: Which Page Is Yours

Start with the shape of the machine. A range is one freestanding body, cooking surface on top and oven below. Our range page takes the machine: surface burners and elements, their igniters, leveling and the anti-tip bracket.

The oven cavity gets its own page. Heating, the sensor, error codes, cleaning cycles and the door lock sit on our oven page, for ranges and wall ovens alike.

A wall oven is built into the cabinetry, and every current Frigidaire and Professional wall oven is electric. The wall oven page covers the unit: single, double and microwave combination models, the cut-out, the cooling fan and pulling it out.

A cooktop has no oven of its own. The cooktop page takes the gas and radiant cooktops on both badges. Induction ranges and induction cooktops sit outside what we service.

A range hood moves air above the cooking surface. Our range hood page covers every type Frigidaire sells. Over-the-range and countertop microwaves sit outside what we service. Frigidaire lists its over-the-range microwaves as doubling as a hood; they are microwaves all the same.

Each of those pages says where Frigidaire puts the plate on that machine. It carries the model and serial numbers Frigidaire’s warranty service asks for.

Frigidaire or Frigidaire Professional, and Where Gallery Goes

This branch covers plain Frigidaire and Frigidaire Professional, which has no page of its own with us. Gallery models belong on our Frigidaire Gallery page.

A model code alone can mislead. FGEW276SP starts with F, yet Frigidaire lists that wall oven under Gallery. The Professional hoods FHWC3050R and FHWC3650R share the FHWC prefix with plain Frigidaire hoods and with window air conditioners in Frigidaire’s catalog. The brand on Frigidaire’s listing for that model decides.

Some Professional guides print Electrolux contact lines from a shared template. That does not make the machine an Electrolux. Electrolux machines have their own page with us.

  • 24-inch and gas wall ovens: all current ones are Gallery, though older 24-inch units badged plain Frigidaire belong here.
  • 36-inch ranges and dual fuel: Professional and Gallery only.
  • Oven features: No Preheat, Stone-Baked Pizza, a meat probe and Wi-Fi appear only on current Professional and Gallery models.
  • Cooktop knobs: backlit LED knobs are listed on Professional and Gallery cooktops only.
  • Range hoods: Gallery sells none.

One Year Across the Branch, Counted Two Ways

Every current Frigidaire and Professional range, wall oven, cooktop and hood lists one year on parts and labor. No guide for these machines covers any part for longer. Two hood guides reprint a longer clause written for other cooking products, which cannot apply to a hood.

The guides disagree on when that year starts: the original purchase date in some, the delivery date in others. Keep the receipt or delivery slip with the serial number. Inside that year, repairs go to Frigidaire’s warranty service.

  • Access costs

Frigidaire’s guides exclude the cost of removing trim, cupboards or shelves to reach the appliance, which weighs most on built-in units.

  • Bulbs, knobs and filters

Service calls just to replace them fall outside the warranty.

  • Installation faults

Calls to correct an installation are excluded. The range and wall oven guides send a unit built in too tightly back to the builder or installer.

Natural Gas by Default, Propane by Conversion

Every gas model in this branch leaves the factory set for natural gas. Propane needs a conversion kit, and the machine pages say which models ship with one. Frigidaire’s cooktop instructions say a “qualified service technician” must perform the conversion.

Frigidaire’s gas range and gas cooktop installation instructions also carry an altitude note, worded differently by model. Our Frigidaire range page and our cooktop page print the note for the models each one covers. No document names an altitude kit or a method.

The wall oven, hood and electric range installation documents carry no altitude text at all.

When to Call Wilson & Myers

Two checks are yours to make first. Check the purchase or delivery date: first-year repairs go to Frigidaire’s warranty service. A 30-inch gas range owner should also check CPSC recall 26-333 on our oven page. It covers an oven burner that can light late.

After that, the work is ours. Our insured technicians handle Frigidaire cooking appliance repair across the Denver Metro Area, outside the warranty year. We source parts through national supplier networks and manufacturer contracts, and we fit OEM parts when the supplier has the right one. Every repair carries our 100-day labor warranty.

I usually start from the model number rather than the symptom, because Frigidaire’s listing for that number names the machine and the line. Book a repair online and have these ready.

  1. The model number: copied in full from the plate, with the badge on the front.
  2. The fuel: gas, electric, or dual fuel on the 36-inch PCFD3670A.
  3. The layout: whether a cooktop sits over a wall oven, which makes two appliances.

Frigidaire Cooking Appliance Repair FAQ

My range top works, but the oven does not. Which page fits?

The oven page, which covers the cavity in ranges and wall ovens on both badges.

Which Frigidaire cooking appliances do you not service?

We do not service induction ranges or induction cooktops. Current plain Frigidaire induction models are FCFI3082B, FCRI3062A, FCCI3027A and FCCI3627A, and the Professional ones are PCFI3670A, PCFI3085B, PCFI3080A, PCCI3080A and PCCI3680A.

Over-the-range and countertop microwaves sit outside what we service too. A combination wall oven’s upper built-in microwave is not part of that exclusion.

Who handles a Frigidaire cooking appliance still under warranty?

Frigidaire’s warranty service, for the first year on parts and labor. Keep the serial number and the receipt or delivery slip ready. After that year, the repair is ours.

Does altitude change anything on a Frigidaire gas range or cooktop?

Frigidaire’s gas range and gas cooktop installation instructions carry an altitude note, and each is worded for the models it covers. Our range page and our cooktop page print the one that applies to yours.

No Frigidaire document names an altitude kit or gives a method.

Can I book a cooktop and the wall oven below it together?

Yes. Name both appliances when you book. Give both model numbers too, since each has its own warranty.

Which Frigidaire Cooking Appliance Stopped Working?

Give us the model number from its plate when you book, since it names the machine and the line. Our insured technicians work across Denver Metro.
