We repair Viking refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, wine cellars and dishwashers, from Veil columns and 5 Series built-ins to older Professional and Designer units. Many wear custom panels, so the plate's model number, not the door, tells our technician which Viking manual applies.
Refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, wine units and dishwashers are the Viking kitchen machines we repair, from today’s lines back to older built-ins. Most current models are built in, and many sit behind custom panels. The model and serial plate tells them apart, so our Viking kitchen appliance repair starts there.
We do not take Viking’s outdoor refrigeration, from the VRUO5241D refrigerator and VDUO5241D drawers to older outdoor ice and wine units.
Each page below takes one kind of Viking machine, whatever the fault. Ranges, ovens, cooktops and hoods are on our Viking cooking appliances page.
The line decides which Viking manual, controls and codes a machine follows. The model number names the line. Four current lines make these machines, Viking still documents the older ones, and we repair both.
VCSB built-in side-by-sides, most undercounter units and the VDWU524 dishwasher. A leading F means the panel-ready version, such as FDSB or FDWU524, which takes the same page.
The French-door RVFFR336, the one freestanding refrigerator Viking sells today, and the VDWU324 dishwasher, which drops the usual R.
The VDWU724 and FDWU724 dishwashers. Viking’s 7 Series refrigerator and freezer columns are discontinued.
Integrated, panel-ready columns: all refrigerator, all freezer, bottom freezer and wine. Their models open with FD, and a final L or R gives the hinge.
Tuscany models, prefixed TV, are ranges and hoods. A Tuscany dishwasher is a panel-ready Viking unit behind a Tuscany-style door panel.
Professional (V), Designer (D), Custom Panel and D3 (RD) built-ins, plus Virtuoso (MV) columns. Viking’s library still holds manuals for many of them.
Viking’s current warranty sheet gives every machine here two years of full parts-and-labor cover. The term runs from the retail purchase, or from the closing date on a newly built home if that is later.
While a parts-and-labor term runs, contact Viking’s warranty service first. Viking’s cover excludes damage caused by any other repairer. Any fault outside those terms is ours to repair.
On built-in, freestanding and Veil refrigerator and freezer units, the sealed system keeps parts-and-labor cover until the end of year 6. From year 7 to 12, the part alone is covered. The sealed system means the compressor, condenser, evaporator, dryer/strainer and connecting tubing.
On the current sheet, undercounter refrigerators, ice machines and wine units keep full sealed-system cover until the end of year 6. Some manuals print longer terms, and so does the Veil wine column’s spec sheet. Confirm yours with Viking.
In years 3 to 5, Viking covers listed parts only, and the labor is yours. The list runs from racks that rust through to the electronic controls, wash motor and pump, wash arms and fill valve. Current dishwasher manuals and spec sheets print other terms for some parts; check the warranty that came with yours, or confirm with Viking.
Two checks come before any booking. Inside two years from purchase or closing, Viking’s warranty service comes first. The same goes for the sealed system of any refrigerator, freezer, ice machine or wine unit through year 6. On an older built-in refrigerator or dishwasher, rule out a recall against Viking’s notices too.
Past those checks, Viking kitchen appliance repair is our work, on current lines and older built-ins alike. Our insured technicians are EPA-608 certified for the sealed-system work in refrigerators, freezers, ice machines and wine units. We source parts through national supplier networks and manufacturer contracts.
In my experience, the plate saves the most time on a Viking. Matching panels can hide two different machines. Every paid repair carries our 100-day labor warranty on the work on your invoice.
Then book your repair online with three things ready:
Which page covers the ice maker inside my Viking refrigerator?
It depends on the freezer. If the freezer is cold and only the ice has stopped, start on our Viking ice maker page. It covers the ice side of Viking’s built-in ice makers as well as its undercounter machines.
If the freezer itself is warm, the cooling comes first, so start on our Viking freezer page.
Are any Viking refrigerators or dishwashers under recall?
Some older ones are. Viking’s notices of 2009 and 2013 cover certain discontinued built-in refrigerators, and its notices of 2012 and 2015 cover certain older dishwashers. No current Viking kitchen model is recalled.
On those recalled refrigerators and dishwashers, the serial number’s first six digits are the build date, which decides coverage. Our refrigerator and dishwasher pages list the models. We do not repair a recalled unit: Viking arranges that repair.
Can you still repair a discontinued Viking refrigerator or dishwasher?
Yes. Our technicians work from Viking’s own manuals for older built-ins, from Professional and Designer refrigerators to D3 dishwashers. Parts for an older model depend on what our suppliers can still source.
On an older built-in, read the recall answer above before you book.
Can one booking cover two Viking kitchen machines?
Yes. Name both when you book and give us both model numbers, since each one points to its own Viking manual. Two Veil columns installed side by side count as two machines, each with its own plate.
Do you repair Viking garbage disposers and trash compactors?
Yes, the older ones still in use. Viking’s VCFW750 and VCFW1000 disposers and its trash compactors are discontinued, and Viking still files their manuals. They have no page of their own, so book them like any other repair, with the model number ready.
Tell us the model number from its plate and what the unit is doing now. That number names the Viking line, and the line decides the manual our technician works from.
